Literacy homework 15.1.16

This week we have been focusing on speech punctuation so for your homework please write a conversation between two characters from Brave Rowland.
Remember to use:

·         Speech marks around the words which are said

·         Punctuation inside the speech marks

·         A new line for each new speaker

·         A comma to separate the speech and narrative

·         Alternatives for said

For example,
At last Brave Rowland came to the cowherd standing by the side of the road. "Can you tell me the way to the Elf King?" he said cautiously.
"I cannot," replied the cowherd, "but go on a little further and you will meet the henwife," he added.
