In Literacy we are learning about recounts. For your homework we would like you to think
about the best day or best trip you can remember. Write all about the day.
Remember to:
- Write in past tense
- Add detailed descriptions using expanded
noun phrases (how did it smell, feel, sound?)
- Use adverbs of time (eg. Next, after,
finally)
- Use adverbial phrases (eg. Later that day;
As I walked down the hill)
- Write in chronological order
-Use prepositional phrases (Eg. Under the
table, over the hill, next to the bridge)
During the half term I went to Kidzania with my mom and friends. It is located in Westfield next to the M&S shop. It's really huge and to get there we had to queue like at the real airport. We got some money and the tickets.
ReplyDeleteI have spent amazing time there. I felt like an adult because I worked in many workplaces, earned money, even received my first debit card. First I worked in the hotel, then at the airport, hair saloon,shop and finally I could try how it is to be the dentist. Later that day I climbed up the wall, I have really nice photos and videos from that day.
At the end we went to eat something and went back home because it was the evening already.
It was really long and full of fun day out. I hope I will go back there one day to try some more activities and spent my money I still have on my debit card.

DeleteThrough the Easter holidays Me and Dawid Went To Kidzania in Westfield.
ReplyDeleteAs We Entered The tickets were like boarding passes, because we had to imagine that we were flying on a plane to Kidzania.
When we entered me and Dawid were allowed to explore around Kidzania on our own. When We went into city of Kidzania it was EXTREMELY realistic first me and Dawid Completed a short survey to see what career is best for us, I got the Artist because I love music so I had to work at the Capital FM radio station, animation studio and the city clock. So I first went to the Radio Station and I had to read the News and Weather update we even got to DANCE and SING and at the end of job 1 we got paid 8 Kidzos so I had 58kdzs in tottal.
The Second Job, I went to the Animation studio and did a stop motion animation about pokemon and got paid 7kdzs. Later on we did more jobs and got up to 75kdzs and got a debit card to withdrawl money, check our balances. And then later (4hrs) we had to leave.
It was really fun at Kidzania
Before i went back to school in the Easter Holiday i visited the R.A.F museum in Colindale with my family.
ReplyDeleteFirst i went into a little hanger and i saw many old planes and cars, the planes are dated from the 1st ww and 2nd ww.
Afterwards we went to a huge hanger with 100 plane's, a simulator and a 4D cinema.
We went in the 4D cinema,sat down on comfy chairs and the show begun.
It showed a battle between robots and drones, it was so cool, the chairs were moving, there was air coming to your face and even a splash of water! the robot even stared at me!
After that we went to a playground in the same building for kids and adults to learn and explore.
There were lots of interesting things about gravity and planes.
It was an amazing day and i would love to go back again.

Beast Hunt
First we , hade a mini beast hunt. We looked at many interesting creatures and plants like :buttercup, bluebells ,funny looking grass, red ants ,ant beds, woodlice and so more......
River dipping

After we hade lunch we went river dipping we went to the river and the pond to see the differences. We did not find any fish in the pond but we saw fish in the river. the water was freezing .

ReplyDeleteMy favourite day of the Easter holidays was, when, we went to Siam Park. Early in the morning, we got ready and left our villa to the water park. Upon reaching, we went to the lockers to change. The first ride I went on was the 'Lazy River'. It was a 15 mins ride that was initially slow but took us through a capsule where we spotted the sharks. Next, we went on the 'Dragon' ride. It was really fun because the slide was designed as a semicircle curve, that spinned us around at an angle of 90 degrees. Later, in the day, we went on the 'Volcano' ride. It was the same as the dragon, except the sliding curve was flat on the ground. Then, we went on 'The Singha', which sprayed a ton of water on us. So, when we came out, we were drenched in water. The last ride was called the 'Kinnaree'. It was similar to the 'Dragon' ride, but was much longer. I had so much fun that I forgot to take a lunch break. It was indeed a very exciting and memorable day.

DeleteIt was last year in summer. I went to Norway With my family. It was me; my brother: my cousin and my cousins friend. We all went to the park near my cousin's house. I was on a scooter same with my brother and our cousins friend. Our cousin was on his bicycle. On our way we heard chihuahua barking in a persons garden. Then we went to the park.
DeleteWe went on the swing but instead of wood they where tyres. We pushed each other so hard that we fell of but there was sand on the floor for safety. Then it was turning dark and we played water fight but we have to have teams. There is this shop called kiwi and we hid behind it. Then my brother antecedently hurt him and he sadly started to cry. Then we had a fight. After one ore two hours they where friends again! Then me, my brother and our cousin went in ate pizza watched a movie and fell asleep.
The next day after breakfast and playtime we went on a train to the airport and went back to England and it was a fun day!
Trip to beach.
ReplyDeleteOn 19th September 2015, me mum and dad we went to a beach trip to Bournemouth and durdle door beach and the weather was sunny with 17 c degrees we had breakfast and left.
Then we took a bus near asda. The double decker bus came by 8:30 am .it took 2 hours to reach durdle door beach.in durdle door we saw stunning view we had a wonderful time in the beach. It was a pebble beach, it was cold water. Few people were diving in the sea. ME, and mum we stood in the wave.
Later we had lunch we were so hungry. After lunch we head back to the bus and it took half an hour to reach Bournemouth while we reached there it was so crowed, at least we found a space to sit down. We watched the riders riding on the ski boat and we made sand castle.
And then we came back came back home. I loved my adventure.
The best trip I have ever beent to was The West Wittering beach.In the morning I got ready and went to school.
ReplyDeleteI came to school and after a bit of time my class and I went on the coach to go to the beach.After a bit of time we finally reached.
As soon as we got off we got changed and left our bags over the table. I could smell fish and chips cooking in the distance. Next we all run like the wind in the water, it felt cold like I was in the freezer.My friends and I had water fights together. It was then lunchtime and all of us got out and got changed again to have lunch.Then we all made sandcastles on the soft brown sand.
Finally it was time for us to go home . My class and I went on the coach and went back to school.it was the best trip ever!!!
