In geography we have been using maps to find out about the local area. For homework think about a place you have
visited (eg London, France, Manchester).
Create a leaflet about the location.
Try to include:
- Places you may visit – Zoos, cinema, beach
- A map – drawn or copied.
- Exciting descriptions of each place including expanded noun phrases.
- Pictures, captions, labels and subheadings.
I think a good place to visit would be Seattle in America. I went there for a holiday and it was really good there are lots of land marks and the weather is really good. There is a really big space needle there and there is a place called Pykes place and it has a fish store and for people who are millionares you can get a tank which can fit a shark in it. There is also a 75 mile long and wide waterfront fild with fully grow gold fish and many other types of fish in it with ducks as well. Overall it is a really great place to go to because of all the scenery and cool stuff there.
